Landscapes that explore a sense of time and place
I create landscapes that explore a sense of time and place, quiet moments suspended between memory and imagination.
I’m drawn to solitary spaces where nature has gently reclaimed what was once shaped by human hands: broken fences, weathered boats, decaying buildings, forgotten corners of the land. These places hold stories. They hold stillness. They hold echoes.
My paintings are not exact replicas of a scene, but impressions, distilled from memory and shaped by feeling. They are what I call Snapshots of Memory: glimpses of places that linger in the heart long after we’ve left them.
I hope my work offers viewers a sense of calm, reflection, and recognition - a quiet space in which to pause.
